Ping Support is Now Ready
The ping feature is released. There is even less of an excuse for using some old deprecated strategy like the inspect element or developer tools method.
What does that even mean?
You can now use discord pings in your fake messages. You can also delete them if you want.
Ummโฆ Show me?
Sure, let's suppose we have the following message back and forth:
That's nice, but the smack talking could be made more effective with pings like so:
Are you going to show me how to do this or what?
It's intuitive to use, but OK. Suppose we are starting off with the original message mentioned earler:
Simply highlight the text inside the discord message maker tool that you want to represent as the username for the ping.
But first let's add the usernames we want to ping.
I am going to show the original message without the usernames.
-
We are starting from the beginning. Here is the editor that produced the messages above.
-
Add the username text you want to be pings.
-
Highlight each text that you want to add as a ping, then click Add @ Ping
-
-
-
-
-
But what happens if I make a mistake?
We have the Remove @ Ping button that lets you fix this.
Click the text which places your active cursor into the text that is highlighted as a ping.
Next click the Remove @ Ping button. I demonstrate this below:
-
We will start off with a message with a mistake: We accidentally highlighted a random word.
-
Put your active cursor (blinking line on screen) onto part of the gr8tester word. Click the Remove @ Ping button.
-
Done! The gr8tester text is no longer present!
No excuse. Stop using the developer tools and the inspect element method.
Given all of the useful features of the fake discord message maker tool, there is no excuse for using the inferior inspect element method or the developer tools method.
We can perform any action that you could do with both of those methods. Click the card link below to start using the tool:
